After one's undergraduate career, many scholars aspire to pursue graduate or medical school. With the global crisis and racial pandemic that we are currently facing, it is inevitable to feel a profound level of uncertainty on how to proceed with achieving our personal dreams. My Hyunh, who is currently in his second year at Southern California School of Optometry, shares his life experiences after his undergraduate career. He believes that there are, introspectively, more ways to prepare one's self for future academic aspirations than by just getting in-person work experiences. He shares valuable advice on how can someone prepare himself/herself/themselves for graduate school, medical school, or other prestigious institutions during these challenging and unprecedented times.
