Salvation is not just about the past. It is also about the future. The early church proclaimed the good news that Jesus will come back to restore all things and to bring about a new heaven and new earth. This motivated the early church to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives (Titus 2:12-13). In the same way, we are to be motivated to persevere because Jesus is coming back! Hosted on Acast.
