On today’s very special episode of Songmess we are finally concluding our NYC interview series with a full on kiki, as Brooklyn drag royalty Horrorchata and Hannah Lou join us on the show. Our conversation touches on their history as drag performers, their status as highly sought DJs, the visibility of POCs in NYC nightlife and their multitude of events, ranging form parties like Yas Mama, Be Cute, Tan Lines and Bitch Nasty to legendary drag festival, Bushwig. The playlist is almost exclusively perreo, so get on your feet and culo-shake to your heart’s content.Featured Artists: Selena, Ivy Queen, Ms Nina, La Favi + Soyicytrap, King Jedet and Karol G + Nicki Minaj.Horrorchata Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/horrorchatanyc/?hl=enHannah Lou Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/djhannahlou/?hl=enBushwig Web: https://bushwig.com/Bushwig Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bushwig/?hl=enRichard Villegas Instagram: www.instagram.com/rixinyc/?hl=enSongmess Instagram: www.instagram.com/songmess/?hl=es-laSongmess Facebook: www.facebook.com/songmess/?ref=settingsSongmess Twitter: twitter.com/songmessmusicSongmess Merch: https://songmess.threadless.com/#BOPS Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2sdavi01h3AA5531D4fhGB?si=FEmXCQvdQtKdtY02ylBh9ASubscribe to Songmess on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play or SoundCloud, find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and contact us at [email protected].
