On today’s very special episode of Songmess we’re sitting down with DJ, producer, writer, label head and event promoter, Riobamba. Known for her extensive tours spreading the perreo gospel around the world, Riobamba has become a nightlife mainstay by using her multifaceted platform to center underrepresented voices on the dance floor and in media, particularly through her writing and label, Apocalipsis. Today’s conversation delves into Riobamba’s personal history of writing, performing and organizing, exploring numerous ways of balancing activism and euphoric partying.Featured Artists: Riobamba, Kelman Duran, Nino Augustine, Shell X and Dana Lu.Riobamba Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5Tc1V1tSQ7K2l8fE5ZasYs?si=RA4w9Z4MRTml3nZgN7ufSgRiobamba Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/riobamba_djApocalipsis Bandcamp: https://apocalipsistoday.bandcamp.com/Riobamba Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/riobamba.dj/Riobamba Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/riobamba_dj/?hl=enRichard Villegas Instagram: www.instagram.com/rixinyc/?hl=enSongmess Instagram: www.instagram.com/songmess/?hl=es-laSongmess Facebook: www.facebook.com/songmess/?ref=settingsSongmess Twitter: twitter.com/songmessmusicSongmess Merch: https://songmess.threadless.com/#BOPS Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2sdavi01h3AA5531D4fhGB?si=JGvNOO8pSH60Gnd0P2_hmwSubscribe to Songmess on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play or SoundCloud, find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and contact us at [email protected].
