Why is it so difficult to make friends as an adult? The very idea of putting yourself out there feels overwhelming as we age, so we'd rather settle in for the night with a nice show on Netflix. 

Wouldn't it be nice to revert back to the ease of childhood friendships? Your mom sets up a playdate and wham! You have a friend! Or your teacher assigns you to a certain table and boom! New friends!
