Stephany Spaulding was raised on Chicago’s South Side by public school teacher-parents. Her parents’ love of education was passed on to Stephany, whose studies culminated in a Ph.D. in American Studies. She is running to represent Colorado in the U.S. Senate and chats about Chicago deep dish pizza, agricultural trade policies, and how travel opens you up to other cultures and societies.
