In Ruth 2, we find Ruth "under the wings of refuge," as a mysterious gentleman named Boaz puts it. God providentially provides immediate relief and daily provision through the faithful steadfast love of ordinary people, but with a greater unexpected redemptive purpose. We are a part of the same story. Our faithfulness and God's providence meet in even the smallest ways for the biggest purposes.
