What am I joyful for today? - SharonI have to talk to myself some days - Ruth For me, it’s important to exercise every day rain or shine - RuthI find the time flies when I listen to a podcast and biking. - RuthExercise is also a time for me to think, pray, and meditate - SharonI noticed in our local parks newsletter mentions walks and hobbies - RuthI love the library - RuthI’m thinking about getting an accordion to learn something new - RuthCovid has given me more of an appreciation for friends and thinking of people and how I should connect with them. - Sharon We soak up every morsel of connection don’t we? - RuthLiving alone is so challenging for some of our friends and my heart goes out to them. - RuthLaughter is an important ingredient of joy. - RuthI created a daily chart for myself outlining the daily activities. Otherwise, I was going to be a drifter. I needed that accountability to myself and to others. It worked! - RuthAccountability is vulnerability and honesty. - SharonI think it’s so important these days to be walking with God. - RuthGod’s word has become a staple. - SharonOur children and our friends are watching to see how we are coping. This is a time for some discipling. - RuthI rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no “brief candle” for me.
