Chris began learning his coaching as a Martial Arts instructor running a Kyokushin Karate Dojo in Wellington, New Zealand. After working in a variety of industries Chris found his place as an instructional designer and facilitator for Telecom NZ. In 2014 Chris teamed up with some like-minded people to launch TEDxRuakura in Hamilton where he lives. In the following 6 years, Chris has built and honed his process for coaching speakers for the annual event.
