Urgent appointments, tight work timetables and hectic socialschedules structure modern life, and they very often clash with our intrinsicbiological rhythms. The discrepancy results in so-called social jetlag, whichcan damage one's health. Among other effects, it can contribute to thedevelopment of obesity, as a new study lead by chronobiologist Professor TillRoenneberg from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich shows.
