Sobremesa: “over the table”; the time spent after eating, talking with the people you shared the meal with to savor not just the food but the conversation as well. 

These are the conversations you’d have with the people you love at the end of the evening when you just can’t leave because the conversation just got deep and interesting. Their brains are full of interesting thoughts, bellies are full of good food, and hearts are full of love.
