Compromise is an objectively good and necessary thing, and yet it is badly abused and misrepresented by many «centrist» Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Biden. Here I talk a bit about why it's so bad that they're saying things that sound good and that one might reasonably agree with at first brush without a deeper understanding of the realities of the situation we find ourselves in, and their backwards approach to compromising.I don't touch on or mention finding a middle ground with people who have objectively awful positions (you want no genocide, they want full genocide, middle ground: half genocide), but obviously that's also a massive problem with their bullshit form of «centrism».
