Show notes
This week we discuss the kerfuffle with the Baltimore Orioles management and TV announcer Kevin Brown. The Angelos family has never been particularly great at running their team and we get down to the nitty gritty just how bad they are. The Phillies have shows strides of improvement since the calendar flipped to August, but we're wondering it can be sustained for the remainder of the season. This week's Hall of Famer, Zack Wheat, brought his own brand of consistency to the table, but do we think its enough to keep his plaque in Cooperstown after being unanimously voted in by the Vet's Committee in 1959? For our parting shots we discuss the underwhelming 1983 and 93 teams, the inherent romanticism of baseball, and sometimes if it wouldn't be better to just walk away from the game. Please join us as we discuss baseball topics and we continue our mission to make The Hall small. We hope you'll enjoy the ride.TimestampsPhillies Segment - 18:21Hall of Fame Discussion - 34:52Parting Shots - 46:22
