This week's guest is Alisa Sonnenberg also known as Sunny Day Speech on Instagram and her Teachers Pay Teachers page! She is a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in feeding and she is a fellow Canadian SLP!
Today we sit down and discuss language and literacy! Alisa talks about the relationship between language and literacy, important predictors fo future literacy success, skills (e.g. print awarenesses, phonological awareness etc.) to help children work on to ensure they can their pre-literacy skills. Finally, Alisa discusses tips for parents to help build a love of reading.
