Sit with me as we hear from Nicki Schenau. Nicki is from Amsterdam but has lived in Japan. Nicki shares her struggle of being the family member of an alcoholic and addict. She shares her experience of being the child of parents with mental health disorders. She speaks about being adopted and the mental and emotional abuse that she received from her adopted family. She speaks about moving to Japan and starting a family and her struggles with a husband who showed narcissistic traits. She speaks about her struggles with suicidal ideations and what has led her out of the struggle and how her life is different now.
