Sierra & Brandi sit down with Lorri Lofton to discuss her transition from Birmingham, Alabama to Charlotte, North Carolina, how she makes the ultimate power moves in Charlotte, managing a corporate job and Prosocialites, and side hustles.Lorri Lofton is originally from Birmingham, Alabama and has been in Charlotte, North Carolina for 4 years. She was offered a management position with Wells Fargo in Charlotte which acted as the catalyst in her move to the area. While networking and connecting with other millenials, she realized that there was something missing in the Charlotte scene and put her plan into action to create Prosocialites in which she is one of the founders. Prosocialites' mission is anchored in becoming a vessel of doing good for others. She is the creator of their signature networking series "Woman Crush Wednesday" where they highlight a prominent woman in Charlotte doing great things in the community. Prosocialites focuses on events, media, and marketing. From the launch in March 2016 until now, Prosocialites has facilitated, hosted, or led over 35 events. Their largest event to date will be The Charlotte Brunch Festival.
