Travel with Marge to the "place where Montana began" - St Mary's Mission and Museum in Stevensville, MT. The hearts of the Salish tribe burned for Christianity after they were introduced to it by a group of Iroquois traveling with the Hudson's Bay Company. It took four attempts to send delegations to the Jesuit Missionary headquarters in St. Louis, MO to bring Jesuit priests and brothers back to catechize them. Their efforts were not in vain as the mission became, not only the center of Montana but also the center of Christianity in the Bitter Root Valley of the Rocky Mountains, all under the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
