Natalie visits with writer, editor, coach and teacher Marisa Donnelly. Marisa founded a writing and editing service called Be a Light Collective and has recently found a new direction for her gifting in writing and educating through her unexpected transition to becoming a "Bonus Parent"! This has lead her to found My Momish Moments and co-found Step by Step Parents as resources to serve others that find themselves in the situation of navigating non traditional family dynamics.
2020 has found Marisa not only tackling her role as a Bonus Parent but also serving the specific needs of her son and other children in her community through homeschooling as an alternative to virtual learning.
Marisa shares her heart on the ups and downs of stepping into the role of mom for an older child and how she chooses to "lead with love" as often as she can.
