Jesus was singularly focused on doing the Father's will in all matters. Several scriptures in the 4 Gospels point that out.
Knowing the Father's will does not happen without intimately knowing the Father. Knowing the Father intimately is defined as Eternal Life. (John
The ministerial group of Matthew
Thus, I submit that on Judgment day, 2 questions will have to be answered by all mankind.
1.) "Did you know Me?" ( Jesus is asking the question of us.)
2.) If we claim that we did know Him, then the follow up question will be:
"Then, did you do my Father's will in all things like I did?"
I believe those were the 2 questions asked of the ministerial group of Matt.
