This is one of the most precious events in history, our Lord’s first appearance after His resurrection; it was an appearance to a woman who had been saved from the depths of human depravity. It was His appearance to Mary Magdalene. No matter how broken you or the world thinks you are, you still are loved and valued by Jesus Christ.
