Show notes

Natasha Calis spoke with Silence on Set about how being on SkyMed was a very different filming experience for her. Not only did Calis have to learn medical training (some of which she picked up from prior jobs), but then she had to immerse herself into what her character Hayley goes through from the second she walks into the ring as a medical professional all the way through her transformation towards the end of the season. Calis discusses the importance of strong women, chemistry with her co-stars, and respecting the Indigenous communities -- all while shining a light on the unrepresented. Calis shows off some of her best work in this show and really put her all into it.
