Julian Payne sat down with Silence on Set to talk about the new super sized Bat Mobile he has been working on since the start of The Batman. The replica looks exactly like Robert Pattinson's car in the movie. We got a first look at the $500 and the $100 model and even a demonstration. Bio:

Julian Payne is the Principal Designer at Mattel, working in the Hot Wheels Advanced Play team. He is responsible for concepting and developing innovation platforms including Radio Control. Julian designed Hot Wheels diecast in the UK before relocating to the USA in 2000. There he worked in the NJ Matchbox office on playsets and then El Segundo head office on feature innovation.

Julian previously worked for NAD Associates – a design consultancy in London. While there, he was project manager and lead designer. He developed the design language which continues today in the Wow Toy line of preschool toys.

Brands that Julian has designed for include - Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Virgin Atlantic, Action Man, Playskool, Brio, Early Learning Centre, and Wow Toys. He has travelled extensively across Asia and Europe to visit partners and manufacturing facilities to understand firsthand the problems that require solutions.
