In this Katha clip, Sant Giani Hari Singh (Randhawe Wale) provides the preface to the Shabad "Aape Kaaran Karataa Kare Sirasat Dhekhau Aap Upai," found on Ang 37 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. In this preface, Sri Guru Amar Das Ji, the third Guru, is asked by the people, "Maharaj, how was this world created?"

ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦੇਖੈ ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਇ ॥

The Creator Himself created the Creation; He produced the Universe, and He Himself watches over it.
