In this Katha clip, Sant Giani Hari Singh (Randhawe Wale) provides the preface to the Shabad "Gurmukh Kirapaa Kare Bhagat Keejai Bin Gur Bhagat Na Hoiee," found on Ang 32 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. The preface recounts how Sri Guru Amar Das Ji's daughter, Bibi Bhani Ji, was granted land by King Akbar and also addresses the questions posed to Guru Sahib about the proper way to engage in bhagti (devotional worship).

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਕੀਜੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥

By His Grace one becomes Gurmukh, worshipping the Lord with devotion. Without the Guru there is no devotional worship.
