Some breaking news out of New Mexico: a judge has ordered Meta to pay $567 million and make changes to the way young users and teens can use its social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook. This comes after a jury in March found Meta liable for enabling sexual predators and pedophiles to access their platforms to engage in child sexual exploitation and ordered the company to pay $375 million in civil penalties.
