Susana Melendez-Valencia is Regional President and Head ofCommercial Banking of PNC Bank for the Texas Border markets. As head of Commercial Banking for the Texas border markets, she leads the combined organization to provide customers and clients with access to a full range of products/services. As regional president she is entrusted to bring PNC’s main street model to life by developing and executing local community strategy and capabilities and drive employee, client and community engagement.

She brings 26 years of banking experience to the regional president position. Susana started her career as a financial analyst and through her support of different markets she has lived in Washington DC, Charlotte, Harlingen, Houston and Laredo.

Active in the community, Susana serves on the executive board for Laredo Area Community Foundation and Laredo College Education Foundation. She is an advisory board member of the School of Business at Texas A&M International University and is chairman of the advisory board for the DD Hachar Charitable Trust Fund. 

Susana has a bachelor’s in business administration in Accounting from Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas.
