I talk to David Colognori, a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley, about the CRISPR/Cas gene editing system. This emerging technology was recognized by the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, awarded to Jennifer Doudna and Emmanuelle Charpentier.
