For 30+ years, Shonda utilizes her passion for agriculture and finance to help create more investments in the agricultural community. Shonda hopes to inspire the younger generation to choose something that fascinates them; she encourages young people to dig into agriculture, because the importance of food will never dissipate. She discusses the impact that COVID-19 has had on agriculture and food sourcing -- “We need to have good strong localized systems, regional systems … really encourage people to be founders, to start businesses that might be perhaps considered slightly old fashioned, but are not old fashioned.”
