Priya was diagnosed with Lupus at the tender age of 19. The progression of the disease caused deterioration of her physical and mental health. But, she fought it all with utmost courage and bravery.

Her story is one of sheer grit and determination. Priya was crowned Miss India Wheelchair 2015 and was also conferred the prestigious Naari Pratibha Puraskar in 2017 by the Govt of India. She is a true champion who with her strength has braved all odds.
