In this episode of she reads… Alma Limón talks with Cicely Ford V.  aka @cicivford on Instagram. They talk about the bookstagram community and how it has changed over the years, Cicely explains in which ways reading is a privilege, and shares with us her favorite books. 

We also talk about her decision to study journalism and her work in the television industry as a floor director for a national children´s literacy program called "Green Screen Adventures" in which she took the stories of Chicago public school children and brought them to life.
