In this episode:
Inspired by the book: Love Letters to Great men and women, in which I found out about George Sand, I was captivated by her bold personality, but also fascinated by a letter she wrote to Pietro Pagello in 1834. I fell in love with the way she describes how she feels about him, how in spite of speaking different languages, and not knowing much about each other, she feels such a strong connection. In this episode, I will read to you my favorite passages from this letter and tell you all about this iconic French woman from the 19th century. Let us talk about what it was like to be a woman then, and what it was like to be loved.
