The truth is a lot is programmed into us vs. being truly a desire of our own. The matrix says obey, consume, stay asleep,  compare yourself to others, watch the news, work hard, drink to have fun, procreate, do everything to stay young, live in the future, live in the past, and give us your energy. I used to live in a world where I thought, well... you would love to be living my life if you could too! I have since been humbled a million times over in this life and now see my life as it was, not the avatar I had created.
