The first EPISODE!!  I will discuss what self esteem actually is vs. what we THINK it is, cultural myths, and how we are able to tell if we/others have low vs high self esteem. I will reference Baumeister et al., in their article "Exploting Self Esteem Myths," (2005), along with Swann's article "The Trouble with Change: Self Verification and Allegiance to the Self," (1997).
