What's inside the 1st Home-made Large Cruise Ship?

This is China’s first domestically made large, advanced cruise ship, marking another milestone for the country's shipbuilding industry. Workers have been busy around the clock making final preparations for the ship to leave its dock on June 6th.

“这个难度在我经历的这么多项目当中难度是最大的。试航文件就有一两百份，而且里面的试航的这个环节也非常多。最大的难点在于收工结尾，因为很多非常琐碎的事情需要去考虑的非常周全。”

"This project is the hardest of all the projects that I've undertaken. There are 100 to 200 trial voyage documents, with many processes required. The biggest difficulty is about the final tasks, which are usually full of trivial work that needs a lot of care and effort."

This is the standard guest stateroom. Some even have a balcony - at sea the view can be spectacular. 

The day I visited the shipbuilder was just 2 days before the ship's undocking, and the team was conducting safety tests for all 20 lifeboats. It was very cool seeing the small boats floating around the immense ship.  

The 16-deck ship also has space for shopping areas, art galleries, water parks and other recreational facilities, which we didn't have a chance to see because final construction was still going on.  

85% of the ship’s interior decorations have now been completed. By the time of its delivery, which is scheduled at the end of the year, it will be able to accommodate more than 5,200 passengers. Can’t wait to see it set sail.
