I'm bound to say that New York's a decent place to be exiled in. Everybody was awfully good to me, and there seemed to be plenty of things going on, and I'm a wealthy bird, so everything was fine. This podcast is takes me back to NYC like no other. Highly recommended!

Really good mixes. He knows good music and mixes seamlessly. Can go a little overboard with mixing back (repeats) on catchy lyrics here and there.....once or twice sounds great; 3 times is cool but repeating the same mix 5,6,7,8 times is overkill. Aside from that great stuff!!!

subscribed for about two months and i'm still salty i didn't find this podcast sooner. this is what mix tapes used to sound like, blends, cutting and scratching. no excessive screaming over the tracks. my first mixtape was tony touch hip hop # 2, this podcast always gives me those feels i had back then. i appreciate what you doing dj shakiem. salute

All the music is dope and always a great mix, but bruh, your outro is HORRIBLE and annoying. Please take off the high pitch sound that you throw in at the end. I have people that say they can hear it through my Beats headphones. Plus it hurts my ears. Other wise, brilliant work.
