Join host Adrian M. Gibson as he chats with bestselling author John Gwynne about his new novel The Wolves of War, grief and the bonds of family, Slavic history, folklore and witchcraft, truth and heroism in the face of discrimination, blending history with magic, balancing a large cast of characters, Norse mythology, the Poetic Edda and Ragnarök, creepy Scandinavian folkloric creatures, The Brothers Gwynne and the book community, teaching sociology, discovering your values and more.
NOTE: This is part one of a two-part chat with John. Stay tuned next week for his writing masterclass on Writing Realistic Fantasy Combat.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Apologies for John's audio in the first ten minutes or so. Annoyingly, our recording platform started recording from his phone microphone, but we switched to his computer microphone as soon as we realized what was happening.
