On this week's podcast, Brian Tim and Dave discuss Highlander 2: The Quickening, the 1991 follow up film to the beloved movie Highlander (1986).

Cristopher Lambert and Sean Connery both return (because why should having his head lopped off in the first one stop Sir Sean Connery from doing as he damn well pleases?), and this time they are joined by the radiant Virginia Madsen and the always-enjoyable Michael Ironside (chewing so much scenery he should have gotten a toothache).

What makes this film interesting is that it was shot in Argentina during a time of hyper-inflation which caused it to go so over budget, the bond company fired the director and took over the picture.  This led to an early example of a "Snyder Cut" situation because the film's director went back later with the studio's blessing and shot new scenes and re-cut the film (spoiler alert: it didn't help).

We discuss if slipping in the shower would kill a Highlander and other very important topics on this episode of Sequels That Aren't Equal.
