A figure traipses a precipice,
Scowls beneath, towards shattered stones:
Hasty epitaphs for the inconsequentials
A plethora of Darrens &amp; Margarets&nbsp;
Who choked down their last gasp&nbsp;
in counterpoint to the air&nbsp;
As it leaves their temporal ribcage
up towards the lift&nbsp;
to the scaffold&nbsp;
