Suddenly, from the corner of my eye, I saw a silhouette at the edge of the forest, moving at a slow pace, as if trying to be stealthy. There was definitely something suspicious about the way he moved in a furtive manner as if hiding something.

Deciding to check out, I slipped out from my home, unnoticed, and began making my way towards the silhouette, ever so cautious about my movements.

The chirping of crickets and the occasional rustle of leaves were the only sounds that penetrated through the eerie silence.
