The Florida Gators have a new headman in the Swamp. Billy Napier is the 29th overall head coach for the Gators and 10th since Steve Spurrier left for the NFL (including Interim head coaches).

Roster management and lack of elite talent being brought into Florida ultimately cost Mullen his job. The Florida program now looks up to both Kentucky and Georgia in the SEC East. Teams have been raiding the sunshine state of talent.
