Those that know me will know that child abuse is a topic very close to my heart. When I first saw Jeremy and heard his story I was instantly engaged. Jeremy searched for his abuser and tried to take him to court for the abuse he inflicted upon on him from the age of 8 years old. His abuser then took Jeremy to court.  Jeremy is now using his experiences to encourage others to speak up about child abuse. More survivors are speaking up, but Jeremy is also aiming his work to parents to encourage them to talk to their children from a much earlier age.  This is a sensitive area and I honestly believe Jeremy is the best spokesperson for initiating such an important movement.  I'm honoured he came to talk to me.
