- Culture is super important within an organisation. If your culture is toxic, you're not going to get anywhere. If you have a supportive, empowering, high performance culture that allows every contributor to shine in their own way, there is a real potential of success in every employee in the organisation.
- Learn to listen. Listen to your employees. Listen to the past and to the present. Listen to the customers.
- If you can't innovate, you can't move forward.
- As a leader, strive for transparency and honesty. If you're not prepared to be fully transparent with the team and transparent with your customers and honest about the situation, then you're already building yourself a barrier before you start.
