Anshu Prajapati is a graduate researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev's Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research in Israel. But getting there from India required a massive leap of faith. After months of crushing rejections and self-doubt, a quiet push from friends led her to take a secret risk that changed everything. Here, Anshu shares her journey into the unknown, the hidden hurdles she had to clear to get to Ben-Gurion University, and her reflections on how much she has grown since. This podcast was produced by students from the BGU Radio Academy Podcast Production Course at the Sde Boker campus: Ms. Ellie Whiteley (narrator) and Ms. Anshu Prajapati (protagonist).
