"You have Cancer." The words no one ever wants to hear in their entire life. Michael knows exactly what it feels like to have those words spoken to him, forced to relive his past experience with his mother passing away from the meaning of those same words. 

The truth can be savage and depend on our mindset it can bring us down or make us stronger. In this case, Michael is not only more determined to live life to the fullest, he wants to help other people along the way.
