The idea that people, situations, and even emotions can be "high vibe" and "low vibe" is a value judgement hidden in spiritual garb. Valencing everything into hierarchies of good and bad, better or worse, only perpetuates the same old paradigm of inequality. Do we really want our spirituality to do that?

#3 – Toxic Positivity

Like most contemporary people stepping outside of mainstream religion and looking for new spiritual ideas that better fit what I felt in my heart, I started with the New Age. However, over time I came to realize that many of these new spiritual ideas are still rooted in the old paradigm they sought to break away from. This podcast exists to challenge these problematic ideas, from the perspective of someone who believes in and practices modern-day spirituality. My desire is to bring contemporary, non-religious spirituality back down to earth, so it can truly fulfill its potential of helping people heal and leading humanity toward a brighter future.
