I first read this poem when I was in class 7th or 8th. Almost all my childhood friends remember this poem at least its first couple of lines if not the whole poem. Whenever any of us mention these lines our faces lit up with the precious innocence of childhood / "schoolhood".  

I am reciting this poem on my childhood friend Ashish's insistence.
