About our co-hosts First and foremost, Mike and Aali are both avid and vocal fans of football and music. Mike is a Manchester United supporting, former recording rap artist and music business graduate who has performed on multiple stages, screens, and airwaves and featured on football fan content across both independent and mainstream platforms. Aali is a passionate supporter of Liverpool FC with a strong love for music, especially rap and R&B. He shares his sporting passions with Cricket as the captain for Edinburgh-based Heriot's Cricket Club (Scottish Cup & Eastern Premier League Champions 2021) and is a former U19 Scotland player. Both have strong experience in public speaking and a real interest in the cultures around sports and entertainment. During the first pandemic lockdown, Mike and Aali began recording football debate conversations along with friends in the networks, these debates continue within private WhatsApp and social media groups for both football and music. Both felt it made sense to continue these organic conversations publicly. On top of that, podcasting is a creative medium that excites them.
