The guys have on Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Shontelle Layne, to talk about how Web 3 is going to revolutionize the music industry by truly empowering the artists to get paid, rather than having to rely on terrible record label contracts. Shontelle tells us about how she was introduced to NFTs and the benefits they could provide for all artists, especially up and coming ones. We talk about her current NFT project '1331 Recordz' which aims to help everyday artists create music for a living and not have to worry about another job. The 1331 Recordz NFT Collection is a 5,500 generative drop of a music artist with a ski-mask which represents, anonymity, financial sovereignty, and to embody how it felt to make music as a Web2.0 artist.
