Brandon Moreno Returns to the Octagon w/ Brandon Moreno

Moreno returns to the UFC octagon to battle Kai Kara-France on July 30th for an interim flyweight title fight.

Patton and Moreno both enjoy the fast pace of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Kai Kara-France and Brandon Moreno were both from the same season of The Ultimate Fighter.

After being cut from the UFC, Moreno entered Legacy Fighting Alliance where he performed exceptionally, winning the championship belt at LFA 69 in 2019.

Moreno considers Alexandre Pantoja a good and tough opponent.

There were many excuses from Figueiredo about fighting Moreno again.

Moreno is putting in more work than ever and making necessary changes to be ready for another championship title match.

When Moreno is in full training mode, he will wake up at 7:30AM or earlier and make breakfast before his first workout.

On Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Saturday’s, Moreno focuses on lifting weights.

Moreno is coached full time by James Krause.

“You need to have discipline and you need to be focused. Have people around you who push you to be better.” (Moreno)

“I don’t like to put my work on social media because you know, a lot of the spies.” (Moreno)

Moreno is faithful that his training parter Yazmin Jauregui will be champion one day in the strawweight division.

For recovery, Moreno will sometimes sit in an ice bath to overcome tight muscles. At the UFC Performance Institute, he will cycle between the hot jacuzzi and cold tub.

UFC fighters are subject to random drug testing.

After the first fight with Figueiredo, Moreno decided to use stem cell therapy to alleviate a shoulder injury.

Moreno wants to be a well rounded martial artist and doesn’t have a favorite style of fighting.

Dealing with drama is uncomfortable for Moreno, he would rather focus on training and his family.

The biggest goal for Moreno is getting the belt back at one hundred twenty five pounds.

Moreno believes that social media is being obnoxious to Khabib Nurmagomedov because they continue to ask when he will return to the octagon.

Having confidence in your speaking abilities is important to expand your skill set.
