Michael Phillip is host of the podcast, Third Eye Drops.

Podcasting has become Phillip’s way to make the sounds he is putting into the void have some meaning.

“You’re dipping into the wonder of life and evaluating it with these words and you do it very eloquently.” (Patton)

“Terence McKenna was like the psychedelic Jordan Peterson.” (Patton)

“A pernicious thing has taken root.” (Phillip commenting on public discourse)

One of Phillip’s favorite philosophers is Socrates.

After serving in the army, Patton has seen how the media can portray false narratives about war efforts.

It can be good to be curious about your emotions, but not letting them manipulate them.

Trying to place both on only one side of the political spectrum doesn’t do anything to make change.

“There’s nothing that could surprise me at this point, almost.” (Phillip)

Dialogue helps us with the flux of reality.

“I’m not interested in idealogical supremacy.” (Phillip)

Psychedelics can take you to the deepest extremes.

Patton conveys the importance of slowing down and taking a moment to reflect on growth and progress.

Phillip’s go to for a psychedelic experience is psilocybin mushrooms.

There seems to be some kind of jester entity experienced in out of body experiences.

Patton describes his first experienced with psilocybin mushrooms at age sixteen.

Psychedelics can mean ‘soul manifesting’.

It is a great feeling to go back to being even after dealing with chaos and uncertainty.

Salvia is a strong dissociative psychedelic plant that doesn’t produce pleasant experiences.

“Everybody is just a work in progress.” (Phillip)

Finding a happy medium is good for balance.
